PEO Brokers |
What does a PEO do? A PEO provides an integrated and
cost effective approach to the management of human resource
responsibilities for small and mid-sized businesses. The PEO assumes
responsibility and liability for the "business of employment," by
establishing an employment relationship with the worker and, thereby,
enabling the client to focus on the "business of business."
The PEO and the client
company contractually divide traditional responsibilities and
liabilities. There exists a co-employment relationship among the PEO,
worksite employee and Client Company, in which both the PEO and the
client company have an employment relationship with the worker.
